Mr. Sterescu graduated from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He is an Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer (ATD) and Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD).

Since joining BCE in 1999, Mr. Sterescu has participated in the design of many mission-critical projects, including complex reliability analysis of power systems using Markov modeling.

Mr. Sterescu‘s experience includes numerous difficult upgrades in existing mission critical facilities. He has demonstrated creative thinking in solving complex problems. On many projects, his innovative ideas reduced the risk to the facility while saving construction cost and time. On a recent data center upgrade project, in a building with limited vertical space for overhead feeders, his design, not only made the construction of the project possible, but saved millions of dollars, compared to other design options.
