Business needs changed, requiring an upgrade of an existing 70,000 SF raised-floor data center, which will become a key data center for the corporation. The upgrade is being accomplished primarily by re-configuring existing equipment, trading capacity for redundancy. Engineering considered not only how to provide the best possible system, but also how to do it without an outage or even compromising reliability.
